Optionally you can use the following spices, depending on your preferences: salt, pepper, parsley and curry.

Cabbage soup diet per day:

Day 1 . Do not eat fruit & # 8211 not in excess, ie not a few kilograms. Preferably citrus (orange and grapefruit) and melon. Eat as much soup as it contains. NO BANANAS!
Day 2. They eat vegetables. Preferably: spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers. NO CORN or BEANS. Eat as much soup as it contains.
Day 3. Fruits vegetables. Soup as it contains. But in the evening you are allowed to eat a baked potato with butter!
Day 4. All day you are allowed 3 bananas and 1 liter of skim milk. And of course the soup.

Day 6. Just like above. Beef or chicken and soup.
Day 7. Beef or fish and boiled rice and obviously soup.

Among the benefits of cabbage is the fact that it is a food with many fiber which will help digestion. It also has properties alkaline, contains folic acid, C vitamin and is an important source of betacarotene which protects eyesight. The skin looks better, brighter if we eat cabbage, also because antioxidants which protects against the harmful action of ultraviolet rays and other environmental factors that can affect the upper layer of the dermis. It also contains lactic acid known for its beneficial effect on muscle tissue and also, consumed regularly, cabbage has anticancer effect.

A portion of 100 grams of cabbage contains 25 calories, 5.8 g carbohydrates (4% of the recommended daily dose), 1.3 g protein (2% RDA), 0.1 g fat (0.5% RDA) and 2.5 mg dietary fiber (6% RDA) ).

They can also be consumed throughout the diet with cabbage soup unsweetened beverages & # 8211 dandelion tea, shock tea (which in turn helps in weight loss).

For me, the cabbage soup diet worked especially well summer, for the periods when I was going to the beach. If consumed directly from the refrigerator, cabbage soup also has a cooling effect. I kept both this version and the one in which the soup is drunk strained, the vegetables being removed and I lost weight with both.

Although in the cabbage soup diet nothing is mentioned about coffee, I consumed at least one cup daily without canceling the effect of the soup.

If you want to help the metabolism to & # 8220ard & # 8221 faster the adipose tissue you can season the cabbage soup with black pepper and chilli, spices recognized for their role in accelerating metabolic burns.

Although the salt it is mentioned as optional, I chose not to use it so as not to encourage fluid retention in the body.

With this diet I lost weight on average 5 kg in approx 2 weeks.

It is not necessary to cook the entire amount of soup, you can cook the soup 2-3 times a week during smaller quantities, I did so. I also used summer instead of tomato boxes fresh tomatoes.

Usually at the end of the 2 weeks I did not suddenly give up the cabbage soup but I only combined it with the other foods not included in the initial diet, doing so gradual transition from diet to a varied diet.

Very rarely during the diet I felt hungry, especially since the soup has the effect and appetite suppression.

In the first days of the diet you will feel better vigorous, this being the effect of & # 8220light food & # 8221 on the body, which will no longer be loaded and will no longer work to digest heavy foods and highly processed foods. However, after a few days a sensation will appear weakness or sometimes dizziness I recommend the use of calcium or magnesium supplements (I used powder sachets).

As in the boiled rice diet I described here I chose to use shock fruit elixir instead of traditional teas, it contributes to reducing the feeling of hunger, reducing water retention, detoxifying the body and energizing it.

[Find out here what are the most effective methods of detoxifying the body]

During the cabbage soup diet you will not be able to practice very demanding sports, but it is recommended to try to do motion of any kind & # 8211 walks, house cleaning, dancing & # 8211 at least 30 minutes every day.

The cabbage soup diet does not present risks if it is kept for the recommended period & # 8211 of 1-2 weeks & # 8211 with breaks between them, on the contrary it will have the role of detoxifying the body after periods of overeating and will also help you to easily remove a relatively large number of kilograms & # 8211 5-7 kg.

Yes, yes lucsksos And I do exactly that, so I'm just from Transylvania in Targu Mures.
Good recipe Ioana.
It's just that I don't put dill (until recently I didn't like it at all) and we put sour cream on our plate when we eat. Otherwise. traiasca ciolanu)

Re: Cabbage soup

Ioana my dear, you are a super cook, I congratulate you, that's how I make cabbage soup, but not with sour cream. Everyone puts it on their plate if they want.

Re: Cabbage soup

In Transylvania there is no soup or soup, as you call it without rantas? Don't they come out good without so much flour?
And by the way, everyone puts the cream on the plate according to their taste

danielita 7 years ago - 16 February 2010 22:42

Re: Cabbage soup

I think Ioana puts sour cream, because she knows that after the first serving, there is nothing left to taste how tasty it is. as for rantas, I don't add flour anymore, and when it's ready I strain it into the soup just for flavor. I think it's enough without loading the food too much

pansy 7 years ago - 19 February 2010 16:22

Re: Cabbage soup

instead of rantas, you can make a thickening, as they call it in Transylvania, mix the cream with 2 tablespoons of flour, before putting it in the pot and give it a few more boils.

mariana 7 years ago - 28 February 2010 09:55

Re: Cabbage soup

Luskos is good with smoked meat, although I am from Transylvania, I don't use ratas at all. I add it with broth. I put the sour cream on the plate and straightened the whole soup with egg yolk and sour cream. It is worth trying, to see how good it is without rantas and vegetables.

ana pod 7 years ago - 26 May 2010 21:13

Re: Cabbage soup

my dear girls from Transylvania, leave the rantas aside because he is not healthy at all. if you want cabbage soup, beans, potatoes to have more '' body '' (thicker) put more onions, not only will it be thicker but it will be even tastier. also when you make chicken soup put 2-3 onions. follow the difference.

Re: Cabbage soup

I'm just trying to make soup, after my husband comes tonight I'll write if he liked it, I'm on a diet. Anyway, it looks good.

ana pod 7 years ago - June 21, 2010 16:30

Re: Cabbage soup

girls in Transylvania are rintas to give them a '' body '' for food. this is in our tradition, but we can continue it without rintas, add more onions (one or two) finely chopped to give them a '' body '' (substantial, thick) if you will. so that cabbage soup without rintas comes out even better.

Ana 7 years ago - 6 August 2010 13:30

Re: Cabbage soup

Super recipe, I didn't know how to make it "like home". I don't change anything about it because I know it's very tasty like that. That's exactly what my mother and grandmother did, and they didn't have any health problems because of the rancid (they weren't fat, they weren't sick, etc.). Because we Transylvanians have a very active lifestyle and work hard

extra good super. congratulations ioana !! now I took it off the fire. In general, instead of rantas, I make the thickening (as someone wrote a little above) or simply put sour cream with "cornstarch" a binder for white sauces, bought from delhaize or carrefour, even at cora. I use the same binder for white sauces for carbonara pasta.
Congratulations again, and know that I made raantas, so I followed " la lettre" your recipe. that I just wouldn't die if I did it if I died
congratulations and I congratulate the man of your heart with such a cook!

Re: Cabbage soup

now I finished the soup, I followed exactly your recipe only that instead of sweet cabbage I put sauerkraut and I didn't add salt but very very little at the end. I don't know why but it has a slightly bitter taste, from what do you think came out like that? otherwise I followed your recipe

Ioana 6 years ago - 24 October 2011 13:16

Re: Cabbage soup

alina, yes, sauerkraut boils more slowly. but I have never tried this sauerkraut recipe.

loredana, have you tasted sauerkraut before? didn't she have a weird taste? if not, then the paprika can give a bitter taste if it is fried too much or it is of poor quality.

loredana 6 years ago - 24 October 2011 21:29

Re: Cabbage soup

I didn't fry the paprika much, but I think the cabbage was to blame, it wasn't pickled enough. Don't you have a recipe for sauerkraut soup? I tried your recipe because I saw in the comments above that you tell a reader that it can replace sweet cabbage with sauerkraut.

Ioana 6 years ago - October 25, 2011 3:51 PM

It looks delicious, girls, that rantasul is for taste, not necessarily for thickening, let's be serious, a spoonful of flour doesn't thicken in a pot of soup), and as for healthy or unhealthy, leave us alone with so much unhealthiness, what the hell, my people all ate with rantas and they all died between 80 and 98 years old..so it turns out that the food from Transylvania is very healthy good people: D

All my life I hated cabbage soup. At 50, more out of curiosity, I made this recipe. A delicacy. My wife asked me to enter it in the regular menu. To be loved, Ioana. All the best.

I prepare something similar, but a little different: I don't add wine or sugar, because cabbage has its own jam. Speaking of this red cabbage which is very strong, I rub it with salt and vinegar, or lemon juice after slicing it, and so it softens. I really like the taste of cabbage soup.

Method of preparation

The most common of the soups recommended in weight loss diets is cabbage. Saturated, without many calories, it makes our lives easier during the cures.

Heat finely chopped onion in oil. Add the grated carrot and the 2 kinds of peppers and cook them together for a maximum of 2 minutes.

We put a pot of water on the fire. When the water boils, add the grated cabbage, then the rest of the grated or diced vegetables, ending with the pepper and onion.

Let it boil over medium heat for about 20 minutes.

After the vegetables are cooked, add the green parsley, salt and pepper, mix and remove from the heat.
